The hub of Hamilton
We're the pub in the middle of Hamilton, halfway along Gray Street. Come in at ten for a Market Lane flat white and something from the cabinet, at midday for a chicken parma with chips and salad, or at six for a porterhouse, the beer-battered fish or a seafood pizza.
There's a deck out the front for when the weather's right, and your dog is welcome out there. Kids have their own menu. If you're passing through on the way to the Grampians or down to the coast, we're an easy stop with parking on the street.
Walk in any time. We'd suggest booking for weekends, and please call ahead for groups of eight or more.

A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and 15% on public holidays.
Groups and functions
The back room has booth seating and a long timber table that takes a big group comfortably — birthdays, work lunches, club nights, or the family down for the weekend.
For eight or more, give us a ring and we'll set the room up for you. Tell us what the occasion is, roughly how many are coming and any dietary requirements, and we'll confirm what will work best.

No, you're welcome to walk in. We'd recommend booking on weekends, and for groups of eight or more please call ahead on 0493 279 689 so we can put tables together.
Yes, for two sittings: lunch from 12pm to 2pm, and dinner from 6pm to 8:30pm. We're closed in between and outside those times. A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays, and 15% on public holidays.
The kitchen runs 12pm to 2pm and 6pm to 8pm. Between and around those times, Monday to Saturday, we're open from 9:30am to 10pm for Market Lane coffee, cake and cabinet food. On Sundays we're only open for the two sittings.
Yes, on the deck out the front on Gray Street. Inside is for humans.
There's a kids menu at $12.40 — fish and chips, spaghetti bolognese, nuggets and chips, or calamari and chips. Ice cream is included.
Tell our staff when you order and we'll do what we can. Please note our kitchen handles gluten, dairy and nuts, so we can't guarantee a dish is free of them.

Thomson's, with no P — though plenty of people write Thompson's Tavern, and a fair few just call us the Tavern. You'll find us either way.
